TOWARDS A NEW CHAPTER IN HUMAN-BACTERIA RELATIONS

This call is the result of the workshop ‘Microbes and Mother Earth’ held on 16 May 2018 at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (La Paz, Bolivia), which was also attended by academics and health activists. In the context of Latin America, based on the proposal developed by the international organisation Reimagining Resistance. The symposium, which is part of the International Workshop ‘Understanding Antimicrobial Resistance, Caring for the Health of Mother Earth, Healing Ourselves’, convened by a group of university institutions and social organisations, under the coordination of ReAct Latin America and the Chair of Microbiology of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, was attended by academics and health activists.
