ReAct Latin America and the Group Reimagining the Resistance, plus the Chair of Microbiology of the University of San Andrés (La Paz, Bolivia), decided at the beginning of the year (2018) to resume the path towards a harmonious relationship between humanity and bacteria. The present call is born in the Workshop 'Microbes and Mother Earth', developed in the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, on May 16, based on a proposal prepared by the Group Reimagining the Resistance. From those dates until today, the original proposal has been nourished by multiple contributions from different countries and regions of the world, and has taken force with the voices of artists, scientists, agroecologists and social organizers. We are pleased, collectively, to invite you to read, comment and share it, under the conviction that the resistance of bacteria is a message to re-establish peace among species and restore the health of Mother Earth.
